This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing and changing Weekday Early Education Center (“WEE School”) for children ages 15 months to 5 years old.
The WEE School Director is responsible for daily operations of the WEE School in accordance with applicable regulations. He/she will assist in overseeing the:
Implementation of New Curriculum;
Marketing & Advertising;
Hiring & Managing Personnel; and
Executing & Maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
This position requires knowledge of child care management and early education. The WEE School Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing any/all administrative, operational, and logistical functions/aspects of the program. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of early childhood education, curriculum development and program evaluation, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessments, and the learning of young children.
The requirements are as follows:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or other relevant field of study.
Official college transcripts.
A minimum of three (3) letters of reference from former employers, teachers, professors or other professional sources, or copies of recent evaluations of teaching or administrative performance.
